Detecting a drone means handling data about a person. Operator privacy obligations are built into the retention schedule rather than bolted on.
You own the recordings. They are shared only as agreed, and retained to a schedule you set.
Aerdefence Patrol detects people, vehicles and animals. It runs no facial recognition and carries no microphone, and anything beyond your boundary is blurred automatically.
Airspace security creates records about identifiable people: the operator of a drone, and sometimes whoever is standing beside them. Treating that casually is both a legal problem and a reason for a site to hesitate before deploying anything at all.
Aerdefence is built the other way around. Detection data lives in EU data centres, retention is agreed with you and enforced by the schedule, and the privacy controls on Patrol flights are structural: a geocage that confines flights to your property, automatic blurring beyond the boundary, no facial recognition, and no audio.
