Data centres

Drone detection for data centres.

Client confidentiality starts at the perimeter and does not stop at the roofline. Aerdefence covers the airspace above the halls, the yards and the plant.

The exposure

What goes wrong here.

SECTOR 04 DATA CENTRES

Client confidentiality

Tenants ask what you can tell them about activity over their equipment. Without airspace detection, the honest answer is nothing.

Plant and power on show

Generators, switchrooms, cooling plant and the routes into them are all visible from above, and all of it is useful to someone planning a disruption.

Construction and expansion phases

Build-out periods draw the most aerial attention and are exactly when the perimeter is at its most open.

Audit and assurance

Security questionnaires and site audits increasingly ask about drone activity. A detection record answers the question with dates.

Above the halls

Confidentiality does not stop at the roofline.

Deployment

How Aerdefence covers this ground.

Aerdefence Detect mounts on a roof, mast or wall with no works to your existing security systems, runs on PoE where cabling exists or LTE where it does not, and listens around the clock. Detections are cross-checked against IAA geozones, so a breach is flagged as a breach.

Your operations team sees live activity in AerTracker, replays any flight, and pulls a detection record when a tenant or an auditor asks. All detection data is stored within EU data centres.

How it works

Detect. Analyse. Report.

IP67 HARDWARE EN 4709-002 COMPLIANT
  • 01

    Detect

Aerdefence sensors listen passively from the edge of your site. Nothing is transmitted from the equipment, so the operator stays unaware.

  • 02

    Analyse

Flight paths, make, model, serial number and operator coordinates are resolved in real time. The console cross-checks against IAA geozones to flag breaches.

  • 03

    Report

A secure console for your operations team, configurable SMS alerts for your duty manager, and a clean PDF record of every detection, ready for review or regulator submission.

Talk to us about your campus.

Tell us what the ground looks like and what you need on the record. We will walk through coverage, where the sensor goes, and who gets the alert.
