Critical infrastructure

Drone detection for critical infrastructure.

Power generation, water treatment, telecoms and renewable energy sites cover wide ground with long perimeters. Aerdefence watches the airspace above them and keeps a record behind every flight.

The exposure

What goes wrong here.

SECTOR 01 INFRASTRUCTURE

Surveillance and mapping

A single pass can photograph switchyards, intake points, control buildings and access routes. Without detection, nothing on the ground records that it happened.

Disruption of an essential service

Sites that cannot drop offline are the ones most exposed to deliberate interference. The first question afterwards is always what was in the air at the time.

Perimeters too long to watch

Fences, cameras and patrols all stop at ground level. The airspace above a generating station or a treatment works is the gap in the cover.

A record you can stand over

Operators answering to a regulator, a board or an insurer need a dated detection record with the operator's position, not a line in a day book.

Deployment

How Aerdefence covers this ground.

Aerdefence Detect sits on a roof, mast or wall at the edge of the site and listens. Nothing is transmitted from the equipment, so a drone operator has no indication the airspace is covered. Flight path, make, model, serial number and operator location are resolved in real time and cross-checked against IAA geozones.

On sites where ground cover is as much of a problem as the airspace, Aerdefence Patrol adds an autonomous drone that launches on alert or on a schedule you set, reaches any point on the site in seconds, and streams live to your team. Both services land in the same console, so one record covers the air and the ground.

How it works

Detect. Analyse. Report.

IP67 HARDWARE EN 4709-002 COMPLIANT
  • 01

    Detect

Aerdefence sensors listen passively from the edge of your site. Nothing is transmitted from the equipment, so the operator stays unaware.

  • 02

    Analyse

Flight paths, make, model, serial number and operator coordinates are resolved in real time. The console cross-checks against IAA geozones to flag breaches.

  • 03

    Report

A secure console for your operations team, configurable SMS alerts for your duty manager, and a clean PDF record of every detection, ready for review or regulator submission.

Next step

Talk to us about your site.

Tell us what the ground looks like and what you need on the record. We will walk through coverage, where the sensor goes, and who gets the alert.
